I really like how on the "old" OKGo board there's only one forum... not a bigillion. I also like how on lots of mb's there are on topic and off topic, that's it.

I've seen lots of good message boards go dorment because there were too many forums to post in and not enough people.

So... yeah.

this is true...
usually when a board has multiple subforums i end up only reading one of them and ignoring the others...
i like the chaoticness of the one forum...
but have no objections to two forums...
four, however, is a bit much for me and my ADD...

Yeah, that's what I do to... I remember when there used to be a Smashing Pumpkins board there were seriously like 10 different forums and I looked at the main and the non... there were other things like other bands, mythology, GATMOG *tear*

Seriously, I like my off-topic posts mixed all up in with my on-topic posts. And the OK GO boards don't move fast enough to have all these forums.

Anyway, someone should save all the contents of the original forum. Muahaha.

I agree all my other forums are like this and OK Go is the only one I religiously post on. I'm gonna miss the old board *cries*

I agree, another forum I was on used to have several sections, and eventually I found myself just going straight to the off topic each time, and rarely checking the other ones...you know the off topic posts are more interesting anyways, and more frequent, especially since hardly anything's been going on in Ok Go land recently...

I have a feeling that something like that might happen, too. But we've never tried it this way before. And if it works, then it works. And we'll all be so happy we'll jump up and down. And if it doesn't work, we can always, and I do mean always, go back to one big forum. And a trucks forum.

Sound like a deal? Why don't we try it this way for, say, two months? We can all reconvene in this thread on February 1st and decide whether to go back to one big forum. And trucks.
