Michael Jackson died today, only 50 yrs old.
I'm not even really an MJ fan, but it's so weird to think that he's dead. Like, he's been a steady fixture of American pop culture for such a long time that I sort of forgot he was human. So his sudden death is really sad, whether or not you like him or his music. I mean, he was great in the Jackson Five, and totally dominated the 80s- stuff like Thriller is just iconic. Seriously, I couldn't have cared less about him yesterday, but now that he's gone it feels like a loss. Idk. also: Farah Fawcett died today too. wtf, entertainment industry, wtf? -------------------- DFTBA!!

It's funny to think about how he was completely dissed for ages when he was alive, but we worship him in his death...
